Healing Hands, rlly elite?
Well I'm near the Fire Islands, and my cap sig is itching to cap something. So is Healing Hands really worth capping? looking at what is does it just looks like a weaker version of Healing Seed, with a rlly long recharge time.

Nowadays maybe...but don't give into the temptation! :P
Healing hands isn't a very good elite. Although more appealing because of the LoD nerf, Gimmer of Light and Word of Healing are better if you MUST cap a healing elite.

It's a cheaper, faster casting version of Healing Seed which can be used to protect yourself.
However, it's equivalent to a steaming pile of shit. With vomit in it.

just capture that
an extra elite always comes in handy
I never use HH, but I find it really good while fighting snowman in GWEN.
WoH is a extremely powerful elite after the update, you should cap it
Life barrier, RC, SoJ, these are useful elite in prophe, and you may need them later

If you never use it, how can you find it really good?

Do what any self respectingmonk should do-cap all the elite monk spells. You never know when one might shine.

Unless you're hurting for money and/or skill points, just cap everything available. You'll never know when you might need a particular (normally crappy) skill, or when the skill gets buffed (recharge lowered to 5 seconds, heal increased to 100!!11!).
That said, in terms of straight effectiveness you should have gotten the currently best monk elite out in the desert somewhere.

The thing is, I would actually consider using this in some situations if it was 8/15 like Shielding Hands. At 10/25, it's a pain to manage. Cap it in hopes of a future buff.
@ayfa: Try 8 Me/Es with Stone Striker, Mantra of Earth, and Stoneflesh Aura. You shouldn't take any damage there and so you shouldn't need Healing Hands. Remember that Earth AOE spells generally have larger diameters than Fire.

No, I meant WoH. I'd say SoD is worthless for general PvE play.

I stuck it on a hero with blessed aura for vanquishing the 4-man areas. It worked vastly better than any non-retarded build I tried for them.

you don't really have to use a skill to determine it's usability. I treat HH as a self targetable and fast activating healing seed. However, like the other two seeds, it can't heal you anymore when you take high damage. The best place for HH in PVE is probably NM snowman, as their damages are small and fast. HH with other two seeds work really well there.
